The Board of Trustees of Church Universal and Triumphant® Washington, DC Community Teaching Center serves with prayer, devotion, and responsibility to support the spiritual mission and harmony of the Teaching Center.

Rooted in worship, spiritual education, and service to life, the board helps provide direction for the larger community, establish goals, and support the collective efforts needed to fulfill the mission of the Teaching Center.

With a God-centered focus, the Board of Trustees seeks to hold the immaculate concept for the Teaching Center, care for the needs of the community, and maintain the vision of its sacred purpose for members, friends, and new seekers.

Guiding the Mission with Prayer and Responsibility

The Board of Trustees helps support the practical and spiritual life of the Teaching Center. This includes prayerful decision-making, planning, communication, care for the property and resources, support for services and events, and the encouragement of harmony within the community.

The board’s work is not only administrative. It is a sacred responsibility to serve the Christ in others, respond with awareness to the needs of the community, and help create an environment where devotion, education, service, and spiritual growth can flourish.

1. Spiritual Focus

The Board of Trustees helps hold the spiritual focus of the Teaching Center by supporting devotion, worship, prayer, and spiritual education as the foundation of community life. This service requires a God-centered approach, so that every decision, goal, and effort remains aligned with the sacred mission of the Teaching Center.

Through prayerful leadership and dedication to the teachings of the Ascended Masters, the Board seeks to maintain harmony, uphold the vision of the mission, and support an environment where members, friends, and new seekers can grow in truth, freedom, and divine purpose.

2. Community Care

The Board of Trustees helps nurture a community environment where members, friends, families, and new seekers feel welcomed, respected, and supported. This includes being attentive to the human needs of the community and encouraging a spirit of harmony, cooperation, and compassionate service.

Through thoughtful leadership and a heart of service, the Board supports the practical and spiritual life of the Teaching Center so that all who come may experience a place of reverence, fellowship, learning, and spiritual renewal.


3. Direction & Planning

The Board of Trustees helps nurture a community environment where members, friends, families, and new seekers feel welcomed, respected, and supported. This includes being attentive to the human needs of the community and encouraging a spirit of harmony, cooperation, and compassionate service.
